Happy Halloween from Mariemont Remodeling Co.!

🎃 Happy Halloween from Mariemont Remodeling Co.! 👻

As Halloween approaches and we get ready to turn our clocks back, we want to remind our friends and neighbors about one simple task that could save a life.

Check your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors!

If your detectors use replaceable batteries, take a few minutes and put fresh batteries in them. It’s inexpensive, it’s easy, and you’ll know they’re ready when you need them.

And here’s another good reason: You won’t have to listen to that annoying little chirping sound somewhere in your house that you just can’t seem to find, only to discover it’s a smoke detector telling you the battery is dying!

Even if your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are hardwired into your home’s electrical system, many have backup batteries that need to be replaced, too. Check those and replace them according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

At Mariemont Remodeling Co., we’re always surprised by how many homes we visit that have missing, outdated, or improperly functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

If your home doesn’t have the proper detectors, please make it a priority to get them installed. They’re relatively inexpensive, generally easy to install, and they really can save your life.

Don’t let a couple of dollars stand between you and your family’s safety in the event of a fire or carbon monoxide emergency.

And remember, detectors don’t last forever. Check their expiration dates, follow the manufacturer’s recommendations, and push that test button to make sure they’re working properly.

👻 A Little Halloween Reminder

As our neighborhoods fill with excited trick-or-treaters, please take a little extra care when driving through the community. Children will be running from house to house, crossing streets, and enjoying all the excitement that Halloween brings.

Slow down, stay alert, and keep an extra eye out for those little ghosts and goblins!

Most importantly, enjoy your children, enjoy your neighbors, and enjoy your home. These are the moments and memories that make our communities such wonderful places to live.

From all of us at Mariemont Remodeling Co., Happy Halloween! 🎃

Have fun, stay safe, and don’t forget to replace those batteries!
